I have been examined by various test and learning method surveys. Well, I strongly agree with their findings.
Without 100% reveling myself I can share with you some of the important element of this thing. Specially regarding the communication:
(This survey has been conducted in 20 June, 2006. Just right after the great Tallinn JCI European Conference. This might had some influence on the outcome.)
Strategies for communicating with Zsolt:
Recognise both him and his achievements.
Support his goals with suggestions for achievement.
Show respect for his ideas and opinions.
Provide incentives and encouragement.
Be straightforward, fast, efficient and to the point.
Share his passion for new challenges.
Encourage his creative intuition.
Acknowledge his flashes of creative brilliance.
Add to the challenge and opportunity regularly.
Allow him time to consider all the information.
Be enthusiastic and positive.
Provide dates and timescales for completion.
When communicating with Zsolt, DO NOT:
Take credit for his ideas.
Assume that because you have “told it like it is”, this will make the slightest difference to the way
that he does things.
Be addicted to rules and procedures.
Reduce the pace of a free-flowing conversation.
Overload him with facts, details and paperwork.
Fail to recognise his best personal achievements.
Talk slowly, mumble or whisper.
Be obscure, obtuse or dogmatic.
Get carried away by his enthusiasm.
Be vague or imprecise.
Insist on cumbersome reporting procedures.
Let his imagination run riot at your expense.
